Rahat fateh ali khan’s Songs

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a Pakistani musician, who has had several hits in Bollywood.. He is the nephew of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and son of Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan. While he has moved away from traditional qawwali as was presented by his father and uncle, he is doing a great deal to bring qawwali to the masses. Using his fame, he tries to share some highlights of qawwali in his major concerts. In addition to Qawwali, he also performs ghazals and other light music. Some of his renditions of his uncle’s originals have brought those old songs back into the listening spheres for younger generations. These include Mere rashke qamar, Tumhein dillagi bhool, and Allah hoo. One of the traditional qawwalis he sang with his uncle was attempted by Riyaaz in 2011. You can hear it below!

It was phenomenal to have Riyaaz Qawwali perform at our annual gala. Heart touching voices that every one enjoyed. Tons of love and appreciation from core of my heart.

No qawwali concert I have ever attended hit my core as much as Riyaaz Qawwali at our national convention. We are pitching their performances to our regional events now.
